Requirements

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, best practices, and nursing standards

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (preferred)
1-3 years of nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
Wound Care Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts
Assign nurses and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
Ensure nursing care is delivered in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and regulatory standards
Monitor unit performance and report on productivity, quality, and service metrics
Train, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards
Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Address concerns, complaints, and operational issues promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate documentation for staff records, resident care, and unit activities
Promote a compassionate, respectful, and supportive care environment
