This role involves meeting federal and state regulatory guidelines, monitoring staffing, developing relationships with personnel on other shifts, and planning, organizing, and supervising activities for children. The Unit Manager will also provide therapeutic crisis intervention, identify maintenance needs, participate in meetings, maintain child records, schedule transportation, and monitor daily operations. This position requires implementing safety protocols, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to professional and ethical standards. Other responsibilities include supervising direct care staff, scheduling appointments for children, adhering to medical/clinical staff instructions, monitoring behavior on off-campus activities, documenting incidents and progress, escorting children, traversing the physical plant, and meeting deadlines.
