Unit Manager (RN) - Skilled Nursing

ElderwoodCity of Lockport, NY
Onsite

About The Position

Elderwood is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead one of our nursing units within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a nurse who is confident in long-term care, comfortable leading teams with varying levels of experience, and committed to building consistency, accountability, and quality on the unit. This role is for a steady, experienced RN who knows how to lead CNAs, support newer staff, and drive clinical standards. Elderwood offers an established skilled nursing facility, a leadership team focused on strengthening operations, staffing, and culture, and an opportunity to make a real impact on team development and care quality where experience and leadership will be valued. This role is ideal for a seasoned RN who prefers leadership over task-based nursing, brings structure, calm, and consistency to their team, takes pride in mentoring CNAs and improving team performance, and is comfortable stepping into a unit that needs strength, guidance, and accountability. This is not a maintenance role; the Unit Manager will help stabilize and strengthen their unit team, improve clinical consistency and resident outcomes, and be a key partner in shaping the culture and performance of the facility.
