About The Position

Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living Skilled Nursing Center is seeking a Unit Manager RN/LPN for their senior living community. This is a not-for-profit, short- and long-term skilled nursing community where service, quality, and care for staff are paramount. This role offers competitive pay, a Monday-Friday schedule with an on-call rotation, and a supportive team environment. The Unit Manager will lead and oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate resident care, and promote a positive culture.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Current, active Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing
Experience working as an LPN or RN in a long-term care environment
Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and cultivate a positive, team-oriented work environment
Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Nurse Manager preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee clinical operations of the subacute/rehabilitation unit, ensuring high-quality resident-centered care.
Supervise nursing staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapy, nursing, dietary) to support care planning and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulatory standards and prepare unit for surveys.
Coordinate admissions, transitions, and discharge planning for subacute residents.
Monitor resident condition, clinical documentation, and care outcomes for continuous quality improvement.
Promote a positive, accountable culture focused on safety, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.
