About The Position

Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living Skilled Nursing Center is seeking a Unit Manager RN/LPN for their senior living community. This is a not-for-profit, short- and long-term skilled nursing community where service, quality, and care for staff are paramount. This role offers competitive pay, a Monday-Friday schedule with an on-call rotation, and a supportive team environment. The Unit Manager will lead and oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate resident care, and promote a positive culture.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current, active Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Experience working as an LPN or RN in a long-term care environment
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and cultivate a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Nurse Manager preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee clinical operations of the subacute/rehabilitation unit, ensuring high-quality resident-centered care.
  • Supervise nursing staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapy, nursing, dietary) to support care planning and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulatory standards and prepare unit for surveys.
  • Coordinate admissions, transitions, and discharge planning for subacute residents.
  • Monitor resident condition, clinical documentation, and care outcomes for continuous quality improvement.
  • Promote a positive, accountable culture focused on safety, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.
