About The Position

The Unit Manager is a licensed nurse who works with the Director of Nursing to support quality patient care, excellent customer service, and professional growth. The role leads the staff within an assigned unit by building positive employee relationships, attracting and retaining talented team members, and supervising and career-coaching existing staff.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state, as required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Stable work history and the dedication and commitment to lead the healthcare team.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee relationships.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care and outstanding customer service for patients and their families.
• Create and maintain positive employee relationships among staff in the assigned unit.
• Attract and retain talented team members.
• Supervise and career-coach existing team members in the assigned unit.
