About The Position
Avalon Care Center Bellingham is hiring an RN for a dual-role position combining nursing leadership with admissions coordination. The role supports resident transitions into the facility while helping lead the nursing team and promote high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes. The position is based in Bellingham, Washington, and is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday with flexible hours. Pay is $50.50–$55.05 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Requirements
- Current Washington RN license or NLC eligibility.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the admission process and help ensure smooth resident transitions into the facility.
- Complete admission assessments and required documentation.
- Educate residents and families about admission procedures, care plans, and facility services.
- Lead and support the nursing team.
- Help ensure residents receive high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes.
- Coordinate care with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support staff development and maintain compliance with facility standards.
