About The Position

Responsible for managing the monthly and weekly accounting processes for one of our locations within a business unit. This role involves providing critical financial services for main facilities, including handling accounts payable, account reconciliations, and accounts receivable. You will work closely with General Managers at the facility, providing analytical support, preparing financial reviews, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3+ years in a lead accounting position or controller role.
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills including VBA.
  • Experience using IBM Planning Analytics/TM1, BI, and Tableau.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet reporting deadlines to corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Handle monthly and weekly accounting processes for assigned location.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring invoices are entered and data is up to date.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring correct billing for profit centers and purchase order information.
  • Provide analytical support to the Lines of Businesses.
  • Prepare and lead monthly financial reviews with clients, providing custom reports and responding to inquiries.
  • Nurture client relationships.
  • Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timely.
  • Complete operating reports, sales reports, special events sales billings, and cash register audits.
  • Supervise accounting office functions, including cash disbursements, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Coordinate financial audits with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage cash flow issues and prepare cash flow statements.
  • Generate Period critique reports and attend Accounting and Finance meetings.
  • Support Operations Teams in preparing financial projections.
  • Review financial measures of effectiveness daily.
  • Develop methods for tracking financial performance.
  • Work on special projects such as P.O. CER Requests & Reconciliation.
