About The Position

The Unit Clerk ED provides support for patients, visitors, and colleagues on assigned nursing units. This role facilitates efficient patient throughput, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. The Unit Clerk also supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance, and overall environment of care. Additionally, the position provides reception-type services to patients, families, visitors, and other unit guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to six months previous related experience

Nice To Haves

• Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience

Responsibilities

• Provides support for patients, visitors, and colleagues on assigned nursing units.
