This position is responsible for processing orders and patient charges accurately and in a timely manner. The Unit Clerk CNA will answer the telephone and call lights, providing information or relaying messages to patients and staff, and directing visitors to patient rooms. This role also involves maintaining medical records of current patients, managing supplies (scanning, stocking, ordering, and disposing of expired/damaged items), and providing patient care as assigned according to standards of care and CNA job duties. The Unit Clerk CNA will document care provided, maintain a clean work and patient environment, and float to various units as needed. Additionally, they will participate in department and unit performance improvement activities, verify charge accuracy, facilitate a welcoming environment for visitors, assemble patient folders and charts, and set up Rauland responder/Vocera/versus for new staff.
