About The Position

Provides safe, competent, patient-centered care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nursing assistant provides care under the direction of a registered nurse and participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit or department. The role supports an organizational culture of Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards with all customer groups.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
• Must possess a CNA certificate, a certificate of completion of a CNA program, or a PCT certificate; a Medical Assistant certificate or completion certificate; or current enrollment in an accredited LVN, ADN, or BSN nursing program with successful completion of at least the first semester.
• Must have BLS upon hire and maintain current BLS thereafter.
• Must be over 18 years of age by the date of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher education is preferred.
