About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to join their team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a variety of equipment, including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and potentially large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5 + years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

- Some trade school or equivalent training desired.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Perform advanced diagnostics on equipment.
- Make complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
- Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment.
