About The Position
This position involves performing a variety of custodial and setup duties to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned areas. Responsibilities include floor care, general cleaning, waste removal, and setting up/striking rooms for events. The role also requires reporting maintenance needs and assisting other teams as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Previous set-up experience preferred.
- Ability to perform excessive standing and/or walking.
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, chemicals, heights, and loud noises.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors.
- Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, and extract carpets.
- Move furniture, equipment, and materials for general maintenance.
- Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and drinking fountains.
- Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment.
- Remove trash and debris from the building to the dumpster.
- Set up and strike conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other assigned areas.
- Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents.
- Dust furniture and spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames.
- Perform snow removal as required.
- Report any repair or replacement needs to FPO.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel.
- Assist floor crew personnel as assigned.
