About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned areas. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom and general area cleaning, trash removal, minor maintenance, and supply management. The position may also involve snow removal and responding to work orders. This is a student employment position.

Requirements

High School diploma or Equivalent
Previous Custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors.
Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, and extract carpets.
Move furniture, equipment, and materials, and perform other general maintenance.
Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains.
Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster.
Clean entry way, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents.
Replace light bulbs, as needed.
Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed.
Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Perform snow removal, as required.
Report any repair or replacement needs to the Facilities Main Office.
Order and re-stock supplies.
Assist or relieve relief custodian, as assigned.
Sanitize high-touch surfaces.
Respond to work orders, including minor mold and floor issues.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Perform mopping and floor care.
Clean restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, windows, and public areas.
