About The Position

The Unified Basketball Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the head coach role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions in accordance with the direction of the program. The position includes organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. Regular attendance is required, and travel is required as needed. The contract length and days vary for the 2026–2027 school year. Salary placement on the Co-Curricular Salary schedule depends on the sport, club, organization, or program and the employee’s in-district experience, as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• CHSAA test and regulation.
• Concussion education and training.
• Prior coaching experience in this sport.
• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity.
