This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position, meaning it is paid entirely by a federal grant and employment duration will not exceed the life of the grant. The selected candidate will work remotely from their home address within specific Kentucky counties (Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Henderson, Hopkins, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union, Warren, and Webster). The position requires routine travel for on-site audits and investigations. The role involves access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring the successful candidate to ensure its safeguarding and security through training, acknowledgments, policy adherence, and compliance with all relevant statutes and requirements, both during and after employment. The Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet advances education, workforce development, and economic opportunity across the Commonwealth. The Cabinet provides education and training programs, employment and reemployment services, unemployment insurance, and disability determination services to help Kentuckians gain skills, find work, and maintain economic stability. It partners with education providers, workforce boards, and employers to align training with labor market needs and oversees labor programs that promote fair and safe workplaces.
