About The Position

Requirements

• 60 completed college hours from an accredited college or university and an average grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program applicable to Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Risk Management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to apply knowledge of underwriting and or/ actuarial principles, practices, and procedures to assigned project work.

Responsibilities

• Work in our regional office to see in detail how we underwrite our Medical Stop Loss business.
• Meet with regional leaders, and learn about other departments and the role they play in underwriting.
• Gain insight and first-hand knowledge that could lead to a placement after graduation.
