About The Position

We’re hiring an Underwriting Associate to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow with a company focused on innovation in consumer finance. The position is responsible for reviewing incoming customer applications, verifying that all required documents are complete, and ensuring deals are compliant before finalization.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
• Experience in banking, loan processing, customer applications, or related fields is a plus
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with document management systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Work a schedule within the hours of 8AM-8PM M-F, 9AM-8PM Sat, and 10AM-7PM Sun (two early shifts, three late shifts, and one weekend shift)

Responsibilities

• Review new customer applications for accuracy and completeness
• Verify supporting documents (ID, income, etc.) are uploaded correctly
• Identify missing or incorrect information and communicate with internal team to resolve
• Ensure all deals meet compliance and documentation standards before approval
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and underwriting systems
• Collaborate with customer service and sales support teams to ensure timely processing
