About The Position
JENNMAR Services is hiring Underground Coal Miners for the Cameron and Dallas, WV areas. They are looking for both experienced Black Hat Miners and individuals interested in starting a career as an Apprentice/Red Hat Miner. For qualified candidates who want to enter the coal mining industry, JENNMAR Services offers FREE 80-Hour MSHA Underground New Miner Training opportunities. Requirements
- Current West Virginia Experienced Underground Miner certification required (for experienced miners)
- Previous underground coal mining experience (for experienced miners)
- WV Apprentice Miner certification or willingness to complete required MSHA New Miner Training (for entry-level/apprentice miners)
- No previous underground mining experience required for entry-level opportunities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physically demanding underground work
- Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and work above shoulder/head level
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening
- Drug and alcohol testing required
