Requirements
- Current West Virginia Experienced Underground Miner / Black Hat certification required
- Previous underground coal mining experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physically demanding underground work
- Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift, carry and work above shoulder/head level
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening
- Drug and alcohol testing required

- Jacks
- Seal preparation
- Pumpable cribs
- Scoop operation
- Roof bolting
- Moving and handling underground supplies
- Other underground mining duties as assigned
