About The Position

The Center for Writing Excellence at Baylor University seeks capable, motivated undergraduate students from any major to work as Undergraduate Writing Consultants. The desired length of employment is Spring/ongoing, and the job begins in Spring 2027. The role is based at the Center for Writing Excellence in Moody Library, second floor West, in Waco, Texas. Applicants must submit a current resume with 2–3 references (at least two work- or school-related), complete the online questionnaire, and email a 4–8-page academic writing sample and a 2–3-paragraph context statement in one PDF by October 30, 2026. Interviews are planned for November, with final decisions in December 2026.
