About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position for undergraduate students currently enrolled in an electrical engineering, computer engineering, or closely related program at the University of North Dakota. The role involves designing, building, and testing electronic systems related to UAS and UGV.
Requirements
- Electrical Fundamentals: circuits, power, grounding, signal integrity, sensors, ADCs, PWM, and common serial buses.
- Programming: working ability in Python.
- Hands-On Integration: wiring, soldering, using a multimeter and oscilloscope, and connecting sensors or actuators.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate electrical engineering, computer engineering, or closely related program.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test various electronic systems related to UAS and UGV.
- Other duties as assigned.
