About The Position

The Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Coordinator provides advanced administrative and operational support for undergraduate medical education programs within the Department of Medicine. This role has primary responsibility for coordinating activities associated with the Inpatient Medicine Core Clerkship and related student educational initiatives. The position serves as a central point of contact for medical students, faculty, residency programs, School of Medicine administration, and statewide campus partners to facilitate the efficient delivery of educational programs and ensure compliance with institutional and School of Medicine policies and procedures. The coordinator provides advanced administrative support to course directors and educational leadership by organizing meetings, disseminating communications, supporting accreditation and reporting activities, and assisting with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
