About The Position

Academy of Art University is seeking dynamic, charismatic customer service professionals to join our Admissions Specialist team. As an Admissions Specialist, you will encourage and engage with prospective students and their families via phone, email, and virtual channels. You will answer questions about the University's schools of learning and provide guidance on the enrollment process. This fully remote position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with aspiring artists and esteemed faculty, fostering a collaborative and interactive work environment with continual learning opportunities and great technology.

Requirements

Strong desire to learn and ability to excel during the initial training period
Strong communication skills including exceptional and proven listening skills
High adaptability and positive engagement with diverse populations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Flexibility to work hours between 9 AM - 6 PM or 10 AM -7 PM Monday - Saturday or Tuesday - Saturday

Responsibilities

Effectively answering heavy inbound calls from prospective students and efficiently answering their questions regarding the University’s schools of learning
Making outbound calls to engage with artists and their families to provide guidance on their educational pursuits
Maintaining the highest level of customer service to students and their families at all times
Guiding students through the enrollment process, while providing accurate, current and comprehensive program knowledge
Demonstrating a commitment to go above and beyond to ensure students are set up for success
Communicating comprehensive program knowledge, including information about the Academy’s academic programs, student resources, and policies and procedures
