The Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) in the College of Health and Human Development is seeking an Academic Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team supporting the department's academic programs, with a primary focus on undergraduate programming. This role requires an energetic program coordinator to support essential program operations, including student awarding, communications, course substitutions, course scheduling, and maintaining program records. The coordinator will also collaborate with faculty and leadership to gather and evaluate student and alumni feedback for program assessment, and work with faculty, staff, and campus partners to plan and coordinate departmental events such as recruitment activities, co-curricular programming, and recognition celebrations. Additionally, the role involves implementing and supporting career-oriented student resources and engaged-learning opportunities like internships and research experiences, assisting in strategic planning with undergraduate program leaders, and maintaining relationships with key partners including community organizations, alumni, and affiliated programs. The individual will also provide wrap-around support for key department operations in collaboration with the department staff manager.
