About The Position

Benedictine University is seeking an Undergrad Student Employee for Food Service, specifically at the Starbucks location within Goodwin FL2. This part-time, non-benefit eligible role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, food items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be friendly, dependable, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and comfortable collaborating with a team. Responsibilities extend to operating the register/POS system, restocking supplies, following food safety procedures, and assisting with opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
• Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to recipes
• Prepare and serve food items as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, food, and other supplies
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
• Clean equipment, counters, tables, and customer areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Monitor product levels and notify supervisors when supplies are low
• Handle customer questions and concerns in a professional manner
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all company and workplace policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
