About The Position

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Intern at our Granite City facility. This role involves supporting the management and maintenance of quality systems critical to ISO/QS 9000 and API certifications, assisting with the formulation and maintenance of quality control standards and objectives, and collaborating with research and process technology engineers to investigate and propose solutions to internal/external customer quality issues. The intern will also assist with the development and delivery of quality-control training. Travel to operating facilities is expected, and all plant activities require a Safety-First work attitude. The incumbent is expected to attend conferences within the field of expertise.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2027 and be in good academic standing
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
