About The Position
Toromont Cat is looking to add an Undercarriage Rebuilder to the Sudbury Team! Our Undercarriage Rebuilders play a key role in providing mechanical expertise on the assembly of equipment.
Requirements
- Mechanical experience in either automotive components and/or sub-assemblies
- Experience working with assembly plans and guidelines
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Experience with welding techniques and oxygen acetylene torches
Responsibilities
- Assemble Caterpillar Dealership undercarriage components, complete minor welding and fasten hardware
- Order parts and maintain awareness of delivery time
- Schedule work at the bench and maintain/control work flow
- Follow Caterpillar reusability Guidelines and remain current on Caterpillar updates.
- Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practice
