Requirements

Must be at least 25 years of age and have an active driver's license.
High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Understand and agree to comply with all expectations contained with the SunStates Employee Handbook
Maintain competence and general knowledge for all direction and scope of work as written and explained in the on-site Security Operation Procedures Manual (SOPM)
Maintain competence and general knowledge and ability for all duties of a Security Officer; explained in NC Private Protective Services training (NC PPS)
Respond to guest traffic when not taking calls or on dispatch
Learn & know the street names within the community to respond to calls/concerns
Maintain competency in the customer’s internal policies/procedures/safety measures, etc
Maintain competency in use of Vision Insites for reporting and photo purposes as daily work
Report safety concerns, violations, unsafe actions, utility concerns, suspicious behavior, etc
Refuel Security vehicle as directed
Coordinate with Emergency services, contractors, and other entities as may be required to solve temporary issues/incidents
The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
