Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to random drug testing.
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self-control.
Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.
Must prepare written statements and investigations in a logical and grammar correct manner.
Must be able to work any shift including weekends, nights and holidays; and/or work extended hours if required.
Must be self-motivated and willing to work with others.
Must possess a positive attitude.
Must provide excellent customer service.
Must adhere to all company service and operating standards.
Must be honest and Trustworthy.
The chosen candidate would work Full-Time, Saturday and Sunday, on-call basis and be willing to accept not having a set schedule.

Nice To Haves

The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes.
This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule.
Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

Responsibilities

Secure premises and personnel by patrolling; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
Provide trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes.
Work shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes.
Be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need.
Accept shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet.
Communicate unavailability on upcoming dates or times with supervisor.
Work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called for short-notice call-ins.
