About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is hiring security officers in Pensacola, Florida. The role provides a visible security presence at an assigned post, helps deter crime and violations of client rules, and supports the safety of the property, client, and employees. Officers monitor for suspicious activity, report incidents and emergencies, respond to alarms and emergency situations according to established procedures, and enforce client and company policies. The position requires reliable attendance, a neat appearance in the assigned uniform, professional customer service, and effective communication. Requirements

Florida D License and Florida G License.
Reliable transportation.
At least 21 years of age, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
High school diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the United States.
At least one year of security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near the assigned post.
Report incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies.
Respond to emergencies, including medical emergencies and bomb threats, and to fire and intrusion alarms by following emergency response procedures.
Maintain a general security presence and serve as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
Arrive on time and complete shift assignments, including overtime if assigned.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and wear the assigned uniform clean and complete.
Provide professional customer service with a friendly demeanor.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and handle typical crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
Understand and execute post orders, including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations.
