About The Position

We are hiring a professional UNARMED security officer for a multifamily (apartment) site in Houston, TX 77098. This position requires performing vehicle patrols. The schedule is 5 days per week, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday being mandatory shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM. A reliable vehicle and a smartphone are required for this role. The position pays $13.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for using your own vehicle, totaling $14.50 hourly.

Requirements

• Level II Uncommissioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS
• Previous experience in Security highly preferred
• Strong customer service
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Must have a working smart phone.

Responsibilities

• Perform access controls at gates.
• Active foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
• Displaying security guard core values.
