Unarmed Security Officer Position, TX 77056
About The Position
We are hiring a professional UNARMED security officer for a multifamily (apartment) site in Houston, TX 77056. This position requires working 5 days per week, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday being mandatory. The shift is overnight, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The role involves performing access controls, active foot patrols, monitoring entrances, securing exits, providing assistance, and submitting reports. Officers are expected to uphold values of HONESTY, INTEGRITY, JOY, AND PROFESSIONALISM. Green City Security's mission is to bring peace of mind and order to clients, employees, and shareholders, by preventing incidents and providing a fast, professional response when necessary.
Requirements
- Level II Uncommissioned Texas Security Certification or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS
- Previous experience in Security highly preferred
- Strong customer service
- Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
Responsibilities
- Perform access controls at gates.
- Active foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- Displaying security guard core values.
