Unarmed Security Officer Position, TX 77056
About The Position
We are hiring a professional UNARMED security officer for a multifamily (apartment) site in Houston, TX 77056. This is a vehicle patrol position, 5 days per week, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday being mandatory. The shift is from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (OVERNIGHT). You must have a smart phone and a reliable vehicle to work this post. The position pays $14.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour for using your own vehicle, totaling $15.00 hourly. Requirements
- Level II Uncommissioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS
- Previous experience in Security highly preferred
- Strong customer service
- Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
Responsibilities
- Perform access controls at gates.
- Active foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- Displaying security guard core values.
