About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at its Andover, Massachusetts location. The role involves active monitoring, patrols, access control, dispatch or command center duties, and customer service. Officers must pay close attention to detail, maintain professionalism, and respond effectively to routine and emergency situations. Duties may take place indoors and outdoors and may include patrol, dispatch, and front desk responsibilities. The position is part-time, with two openings: Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (36 hours), or Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (16 hours).

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of 30–90 minutes.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic to moderate computer and technical skills.
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience preferred.
Military or law enforcement background is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through foot and/or vehicle patrols and dispatch or command center duties.
Control access points and verify visitors.
Provide front desk and customer service support.
Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
Identify and report suspicious activity or security risks.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, including medical and fire emergencies.
Complete accurate and timely incident reports.
