About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services in a retail setting. The role combines customer service, surveillance, access control, patrols, incident response, and accurate reporting to help protect personnel, visitors, and property. Officers may also coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents. The position starts at $20.00 per hour. Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and provide guidance.
Monitor security systems and surveillance equipment for suspicious activity and potential security risks.
Document incidents, observations, and activities through detailed and accurate reports.

Conduct routine patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises.
Manage access control procedures and verify visitor credentials.
Evaluate security systems for vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents.
Protect personnel, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment.
