About The Position

Patrol Solutions is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a county utility lot in North Hollywood, California. The position pays $20.06–$20.56 per hour, depending on certifications, with pay issued twice monthly. Available schedules are Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (16 hours weekly), or Monday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. (32 hours weekly). Applicants should be able to reliably commute to the site. The role involves outdoor patrol on foot and in a vehicle, monitoring for security and safety concerns, documenting activity, responding to incidents, and assisting county staff professionally. Applicants without a guard card may receive a conditional offer and then complete the required BSIS training and apply for a guard card. Patrol Solutions does not pay for this training but can direct applicants to nearby approved schools. The start date is set once the guard card is issued. Benefits depend on hours worked. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old; be at least 21 to drive a company vehicle.
Have a valid California BSIS Guard Card or be willing to obtain one before the first shift.
Have a baton permit, pepper spray certification, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Have reliable transportation to North Hollywood, California.
Be able to read and write clear reports in English and use a smartphone for daily activity reports.
Be able to stand and patrol on foot outdoors for the entirety of the shift.
