About The Position
Marksman Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for the 3rd shift in the Montgomery, AL area. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.57 and requires weekend and holiday availability. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in security or customer service. Requirements
- At least 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state licensing, is mandatory
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid CPR
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security or customer service fields
- Computer Skills is a plus
- Monitoring and surveillance experience
- Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!
Responsibilities
- Deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules on a property.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position.
- Patrol areas and conduct security checks.
- Provide protection for equipment and workers in factories and offices.
- Check the credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the premises.
- Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior (Rover position).
- Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property (Gatehouse position).
- Acknowledge and greet guests with courtesy, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages (Front Desk position).
