About The Position

Security Management is currently seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Columbus, GA area. The qualified Security Officer will have experience in customer service and ideally in the security industry. This role requires the ability to handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality at all times. The position involves standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Constant use of hands, arms, and eyes is necessary for tasks such as using the radio/phone, computer, writing reports, and monitoring security screens. The role also requires adaptability to various environments and changing outdoor conditions.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the US.
Fluent in English.
At least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Honorable discharge if Military (DD 214 required).
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Background Check.
Ability to pass a 13-panel Drug Test.
Possess a valid Driver's License.
Provide a current 3-year Driving Record.
Reliable Transportation.
Intermediate computer skills.
Experience in customer service.
Experience in the security industry is ideal.
