Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or public-facing spaces, verifying credentials when required and documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations.
Support traffic and pedestrian flow around the location as directed, assisting with post orders, temporary restrictions, and communication during operational changes and/or emergency situations.
