About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or public personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures, while reporting concerns and documenting incidents in a timely manner.
