Night Shift Security Officer (Pittsburgh Regional Office)
About The Position
St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking dependable, safety-conscious Unarmed Security Officers to support security operations at a heavy industrial facility in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Safety, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential. Officers must be comfortable working walking posts and following established site safety and security procedures. The position listing identifies a location in Rochester, Pennsylvania, and a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It also describes the role as third shift with weekends. Relocation and travel are not required.
Requirements
- Previous security experience is required.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) clearance is a condition of employment.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots are required.
- Ability to work walking posts and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Dependable and professional, with the ability to follow instructions and established safety protocols.
- Ability to work all days and shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- GED or high school diploma/equivalent.
- Driver's license certification.
Nice To Haves
- Industrial facility experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor facility access and verify authorized personnel and visitors.
- Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols, including designated walking posts.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
- Enforce site security procedures and maintain a safe, secure environment.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Respond professionally to emergencies and follow established response procedures.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and management.
- Remain alert and maintain a professional presence throughout each shift.
