About The Position

Doyle Security Services provides customized security solutions and investigative services, with a focus on protecting clients' people, property, and peace of mind. The Unarmed Security Officer must be able to travel to numerous sites and has no set shifts or schedule. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helping protect client property and personnel. Duties include making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises. The role requires standing for most of the workday and availability for any shift on a per-diem basis.

Requirements

Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or GED.
A 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.
Ability to understand English and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.
Must be able to travel to numerous sites and be available for any shift.

Responsibilities

Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; and obtaining signatures.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
