As a Unarmed Security Officer Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
