As a Unarmed Security Officer Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
