As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support daily operations with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and support security-related investigations as directed by site leadership.
