About The Position

The Unarmed Security Guard Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. The officer reports irregularities, informs violators of policies and procedures, restrains trespassers when necessary, identifies risks, and notifies appropriate management or 911/Police. The position also involves sounding alarms to obtain help, recording observations and occurrences, documenting surveillance activities, and maintaining a written log of daily activities for each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
• Have a valid permanent California Guard Card.
• Have strong English communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
• Have access to reliable transportation.
• Present a positive and confident professional image.
• Successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Be drug free.
