About The Position

The Unarmed Security Guard Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. The officer responds to problems by sounding alarms and notifying appropriate management, 911, or police when needed. The position also involves reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, restraining trespassers, and identifying risks. The officer records observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities in reports and maintains a written log of daily activities for each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
• Hold a valid Permanent California Guard Card.
• Have strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
• Have access to reliable transportation.
• Present a positive, confident, and professional image.
• Successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Be drug free.
