About The Position

The Unarmed Security Guard Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. The officer responds to incidents by sounding alarms, reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, restraining trespassers, identifying risks, and notifying appropriate management or 911/Police. The role also requires completing reports that record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintaining a written log of daily activities per shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
• Have a valid permanent California Guard Card.
• Have strong English communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
• Have access to reliable transportation.
• Present a positive, confident, professional image.
• Successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Be drug free.
