About The Position

The Unarmed Gate Checker will monitor and control access points by checking credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure authorized entry. This role requires the ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and involves standing, stooping, and bending for long periods in all weather conditions. Responsibilities include using motor vehicles and foot patrols to monitor client property, responding promptly to incidents using conflict management techniques, and supporting loss prevention efforts through observation, CCTV monitoring, and reporting suspicious activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the State.
• Be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Must provide a background check upon hire.
• Must have transportation.
• Must submit to pre-job and random drug testing.
• Must be able to self-manage.
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must have excellent report writing skills.
• Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
• Must be able to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend for long periods of time.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Basic ability to use a computer or Tablet.
