About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Ultrasound Technologist to support a specialized mobile healthcare initiative focused on cancer screening services. This role requires expertise in diagnostic ultrasound imaging, patient care, and advanced prostate ultrasound examinations utilizing the ExactVu Ultrasound System. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical imaging skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree required.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required.
  • Prostate ultrasound experience required.
  • ExactVu Ultrasound System experience required.
  • Strong proficiency with ultrasound imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Experience with PACS imaging systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Knowledge of office administration and healthcare documentation practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • English proficiency required (Read, Write, and Speak).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and perform diagnostic examinations according to established protocols.
  • Conduct prostate ultrasound examinations utilizing the ExactVu Ultrasound System.
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
  • Capture, review, and transfer diagnostic images through PACS for physician interpretation.
  • Assist physicians and radiologists by providing technical support during examinations.
  • Maintain, clean, and perform minor troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment.
  • Ensure adequate inventory and availability of supplies required for daily operations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate patient flow as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, examination documentation, and imaging data.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
